Our Step-by-Step Window Cleaning Process

Window Assessment & Preparation
We start every job by identifying the window types and areas that need attention, checking both interior and exterior glass to see where dirt and buildup are worst. Tracks, sills, and screens get inspected too, since these areas often need extra care.

Window Tracks & Sills Cleaning

Once loosened, we remove the dirt and moisture, wipe the tracks and sills thoroughly, and repeat wherever buildup remains. Clean tracks make the rest of the process easier and more effective.
Interior Window Glass Cleaning
With tracks and sills clean, we move to the interior glass. For double-hung windows, we tilt the sashes inward where applicable to reach the glass more easily.
We clean the glass from top to bottom, removing dirt and residue as we go, then check for streaks or remaining spots before moving on.
Upper & Lower Sash Cleaning
We open and tilt the lower sash to access the glass behind it, and where applicable, lower and tilt the upper sash too. This gives us access to both sides of the window that are otherwise hard to reach.
We clean the exterior-facing sides of the accessible sashes, then the interior-facing glass, removing any dirty water or residue. Both are checked before the sashes go back into position.
Exterior Window Glass Cleaning
For the exterior glass, we first assess the safest way to reach the window. Once access is set, we clean the exterior-facing surfaces, removing loose dirt and debris.
The glass is cleaned thoroughly and rinsed to clear any loosened dirt and residue, with a final check for streaks or remaining spots.
Window Screen Cleaning
Screens are inspected for accumulated dirt and debris as part of the process. We clean them directly, removing loosened dirt from the surface and rinsing where appropriate.
Once cleaned, screens are checked before we move on to complete the rest of the job.

With glass and screens clean, we wipe down the accessible window frames, detail the edges and corners, and clear away any residue around the glass.
