Our Step-by-Step Carpet Cleaning Process
Each step below builds on the last, from the first walk-through to the final dry check.

Carpet Inspection & Preparation
Every job starts with a full inspection of the carpeted areas. We identify the fiber type and check overall condition before beginning, giving high-traffic areas and heavily soiled spots a closer look, along with any visible stains.
We also note pet-related areas, odors, or other problem spots that need special attention, then prepare the area for cleaning.

Thorough Carpet Vacuuming
Before any wet cleaning happens, we vacuum the entire carpeted area to remove loose dirt, dust, hair, and dry debris from the fibers.
High-traffic areas get extra attention, since they tend to hold more dry soil. Clearing it up front prepares the fibers for a deeper clean later on.

Stain & Spot Pre-Treatment
We identify individual stains and spots throughout the carpet, treating these problem areas before moving into the main cleaning process.
Heavily soiled areas receive additional attention at this stage. Treatments are left to sit and work where needed, with each stain handled based on its type and condition.

Carpet Pre-Conditioning & Agitation
We apply the appropriate pre-treatment across the entire carpet, working it into the fibers to help loosen embedded dirt and soil.
Heavily soiled areas are agitated where needed to break up ground-in debris, with traffic lanes and other high-use areas getting extra attention since they typically carry more embedded soil.

Deep Carpet Cleaning & Extraction
This is where the carpet gets deep cleaned. We work through the fibers to loosen embedded soil, then extract that loosened dirt along with moisture from the carpet.
Heavily soiled areas may need additional passes. As we extract, we remove remaining cleaning residue and moisture, taking care not to leave the carpet excessively wet.

Post-Cleaning Spot Treatment
After the main cleaning is complete, we inspect the carpet again to identify any spots that still need attention, re-treating them where appropriate.
If an area didn’t fully respond during the first cleaning, we work on it again, then recheck treated areas after this additional pass.

Carpet Grooming & Drying
Once cleaning is finished, we groom the carpet pile to restore the fibers to a more even position, which helps the carpet dry more consistently.
We set up airflow where needed to support drying, and the carpet is allowed to dry properly before it goes back into normal use.

Final Carpet Inspection & Reset
The last step is a full inspection of the entire cleaned area, checking high-traffic areas and any previously stained spots for remaining dirt or visible residue.
We also confirm the carpet is drying properly, re-clean anything that still needs it, and complete a final quality check before the space is left clean and ready for use.

Furniture Pads & Blocks
Placed under legs and feet so damp carpet doesn’t stain or mark from furniture during drying.
Moisture Meter
Checks the pad and pile are dry enough before furniture goes back and the room returns to normal use.
